With over 20 years of experience in retail, Mr. McClurkin offers a deep skill set in marketing, merchandising, trade area analysis, management, and negotiation in all facets of commercial real estate. Through the strength of his tenant relationships, he has a proven successful record in both tenant and landlord representation.

Steve McClurkin began Sidney Inc. in 2004. Over the last 5 years Steve's core focus has been serving as a consultant with EB Development assisting in managing and leasing over 1 million sq. ft. around the country. He was successful in completing leases with H&M, Nike, Restoration Hardware, F21, Tilly's, PacSun, J. Crew, Nordstrom's Rack, and Agaci. The majority of those leases were done at Assembly Row, Tejon Outlets, The Pike Outlets, Outlets at the Boarder, and Empire Outlets. He continues to serve as a consultant for EB Development.

For over 18 years, Mr. McClurkin has been growing retail brands across the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam, and Mexico. His focus has been on national retailers and restaurants with expansions coast to coast. Notably, Mr. McClurkin serves as Master Broker for H&M and the roll out of their European luxury brands COS and Other Stories.

Mr. McClurkin also began assisting H&M with their expansion in Puerto Rico and continues to serve as a liaison between the Puerto Rico retailers association with H&M and Nike. These key retailers have aligned with Steve to push for tax reform as the island continues to rebuild from Hurricane Maria.

Mr. McClurkin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from James Madison University, Virginia.  He was on the Dean’s List at JMU College of Business and won its John C. Wright Award, while working part time to pay for school and playing football.
